According to documentary evidence, the mill was built in the first half of 19th century. It used to be a small building connected to a house. After reconstruction it was miling untill 1928, when Ignác Lasák, the son of the previous owner, made a total rebuild of the mill and the house and added the first floor. In 1985 the derelicted bulding was bought by Mr. Leo Jan Lossmann, who made a partial reconstruction. In 1992 Mr. Lossmann let the mill to his sister Maria - Segers - Lossmann...
The building was inaugurated on 31 July 1994 and is known as the "Hotel Moravia - Lasákuv Mlýn". On 1 June 1997, 7 rooms were added, 3 of which for disabled persons in accordance with European rules and regulations. This annex, "Hotel Garni", includes a conference room and an oasis with a sauna, solarium, jacuzzi, etc. A winter garden was planted in the original part and a lobby bar was added to the reception. A four star hotel! In 1994, a group of Flemish investors renovated the ruins into a three star hotel after expanding it with a third wing and completely renovating the mill section.
"Hotel Moravia ****Lasákuv Mlyn" was awarded the "Domus roku 1995" (first prize) by the District Blansko. Translated this means "House of the year 1995 ". This annual prize is awarded to the best renovated project.
